Brief & Discovery
We start by asking specific questions, not vague ones. Before any design work begins, we need to understand your business model, your customers, what you are trying to achieve, and what has not worked before. We send a structured questionnaire and, for projects above a certain scope, schedule a discovery call. Our goal is a documented brief that both sides can hold each other to. Ambiguity at this stage costs both of us time and money later.
- Structured brief questionnaire
- Business goals and conversion targets
- Audience and competitor research
- Content inventory review
- Signed-off brief document
Concept & Direction
Before showing you any visuals, we define the creative direction. This is a short document covering typography choices, colour territory, tone of voice, and visual references. We share it early because changing direction at this stage is fast and cheap. Changing it after a full design is complete is neither of those things. One round of feedback on the direction is all we need before moving into full design.
- Typography system selection
- Colour direction + rationale
- Visual reference board
- Tone of voice brief
- Direction sign-off
Design & Craft
The actual design work happens in Figma. We design desktop first, then adapt for mobile, not the other way around. You receive a prototype link to review in context. We work through the agreed revision rounds until the design is right. Revisions should be requests for changes, not redesigns - if the direction was properly signed off, this phase moves quickly.
- Desktop-first layout design
- Mobile and tablet responsive variants
- Interactive Figma prototype link
- Revision rounds per package
- Final approval and asset export
Handoff & Support
Once the design is approved, we prepare the full delivery package. This includes the Figma source file, all exported assets, and a developer specification document with spacing values, colour codes, font weights, and behaviour notes. For larger packages, we walk you through the handoff on a video call. After delivery, you have two to four weeks of support included depending on the package, for questions as your development team implements the design.
- Figma source file delivery
- All assets exported (SVG, PNG, WebP)
- Developer spec document
- Video walkthrough call (Studio/Ignite)
- Post-delivery support window
